Hello, I'm looking to move to L.A to study the art of make up and hair styling although I'm more interested in studying makeup. I'll be studying in about 3 years time but I'm looking to gather information on academies and possibly call or e-mail information and questions if anyone could help me out that would be awesome :D.I'm looking for information on the best or any award winning beauty schools in Los Angeles?

Do i have to represent my school if im going into teen beauty pagents?

No. Unless the pageant is involved with the school, You don't represent your school. But getting good grades is always good.
I'm sure the creeps and pedophiles watching the pageant won't care if you have A's or B's

Eyes - eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara - get them in different colors and create your own look!





Lips - always use chapstick. %26amp; maybe some scented lipgloss.





Face - use a face lotion [like olay], but make sure your not allergic to it! %26gt;.%26lt;





Hair - use a hair mask every week, wash every 2 days, and go to seventeen.com for hair ideas!





Skin - drink lots of water for clear skin, and exercise daily. you'll feel the difference :]Beauty??????
Lips- To have soft smooth lips brush them with a soft tooth brush to take off extra skin. Dry your lips and apply lots of chap stick

Makeup- For a natural makeup look wear minimal mascara and only line your top lids with a dark brown or black. Add lip gloss and you are good to go!


Hair- Putting your wet hair into curlers over night gives you REALLY REALLY tight spirally curls. So unless you are going for hair that is twice as big and curly as Taylor Swift's, don't do it.

The key is to position yourself in a certain market for example, someone who wants to market to the grunge market might go with something like -

If you were trying to go after a market like the really upmarket high fashion market you could go with something like -





- Queen of Elegance (or Queen Elegance)


- Empress of Style


- The Fashion Empress





If you look at some of the greats of the blog world, they all have carved their market by being unique. Don't copy what others are doing, carve your own unique style and market.

I am 12th passed women, good experience in beauty parlor (I had my own beauty parlor in my native place) now I got married came to Mumbai, I have 3 陆 months baby, my husband is in Computer field, I am thinking to do Ms-cit, at presently handling beauty parlor business from home, but its going slowly please tell me which will be best option for me?What to continue Beauty Parlor or Computer?
You are natural when it comes to beauty parlors. But I would say choose 'Computer study'. You may not like the working atmosphere. But for the sake of knowledge and a good degree, it helps. Then go for 'beauty parlor'.


I personally am in to technical and professional things and I have wasted every year since my 12th on fashion and film courses and didn't make a thing. I miss science now.

ooh this is a fun question. these are my top 10 fave tips. =)


1) Get a fabulous haircut, no matter who you are, a great haircut will make you look better,


2) Keep your skin moisturized. Nothing is more of a turn off than flaky skin.


3) Dont go overboard with makeup. Your natural beauty needs to shine through.


4) Clear lip gloss is necessary to look cute and keep lips soft. Fruity smell is the best =) I love Lip Smackers in Watermelon... yummy.


5) Drink plenty of water. It flushes out toxins in the body which helps everything...... skin, health, weight etc.


6) Keep your nails in good shape. No rough edges, no yellowing nails, no dry yucky cuticles and NO CHIPPED POLISH!


7) Always keep a white eyeliner nearby. Using it on the lower rims and in the inner corner of your eyes makes you look awake and bright.


8) Always brush! White teeth makes everyone look more attractive


9) For a bright pop of color, purple eyeshadow looks good with any eye color.


10) Keep your eyebrows neat. Unruly eyebrows attract the wrong kind of attention.

Personally, keeping it natural works great for me. Mascara really brings out a lot of eye colors--and concealer works for the occasional zit. Colored lip gloss is a great way to look fresh--and the right kind will stay on for a good amount of time.





I don't think eyeliner is necessary. Neither is eye shadow. You can create impromptu blush by slapping your cheeks every now and again. Anything that is more of an ornament to your face isn't always good.
