I think Paris should cover the ancient architecture part. But I was wondering which part of France close to Paris is good for Scenic beauty? any suggestions?I am visiting France and wanna see architecture and some scenic beauty. Which place is good for scenic beauty?
If you choose Paris for the architectural point of view, I'd reccommend Normandy for the scenic beauty. Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville for example, are beautiful little towns. and Normandy is easy to get to from Paris.
Another possibility is the Loire valley, rich in scenic beauty and most of the most magnificent ch芒teaux of France are located along this valley.
The following website will give you a list of most of the castles worth seeing all over France.... Just take your pick!
And as to scenic beauty, there is hardly a corner of France that is not worth seeing!!!

the Loire Valley is amazing....so many chateaux and small towns...if you like the countryside, go there!
