I think they are great. Beauty pageants teach you poise, beauty, and confidence. I myself was in beauty pageants; they are just great for little girls! :)What do you think about child beauty pagents?
theyd be okay if the parents weren't showbiz moms/dads and didn't make their kids feel like they had to win the gain their parents respect

It a competition based on someones ability to be beautiful. Sure they also judge you on your lying ability and mediokre talents but the main concept is beauty. To be judged on something you can't control is ludacris and it makes mothers pyscho for some reason.

Horrible. What's so great about a shallow contest that has young girls dressing like 20 year old women. Why the heck do some children's beauty pagents have swimsuit competitions for? I'd have a few choice words for the barnacle head who came up with such a stupid concept.
I think they're horrible!!! Dressing up little 5 year olds to look like 20 somethings, it's hideous!!!
