Why is beauty more important for women than looks are for a guy?

Want some more opinions since I posted this late.





Why does it seem beauty is more important for women than being handsome is for guys? Hiow come guys are not all concerned all the time how they look?





If you look at the Beauty section of Yahoo Answers, its mostly girls





So clearly there has to be a reason





How come it doesn't seem as if guys are not asking if they should dye their hair and what not??Why is beauty more important for women than looks are for a guy?
because most don't guys don't care and shouldn't really care if they look all prettied up. they only question a guy would ask here is ';what haircut should i get?'; 'cause the rest of these questions are about makeup, outfits, lotions, and perfumes, and i doubt many guys care about that.





but then again there's nothing wrong with being metrosexual.Why is beauty more important for women than looks are for a guy?
im a guy and i care about how i look. honestly girls just go overboard sometimes with thier appearance/looks and make guys seem like they dont put time in looking good when we actually do.
