Please can you give some arguments for both sides please.Can you think of arguments for and against child beauty pageants?
child beauty pageants are great because they build confidence and meet new people. lets say a girl is shy in school. she doesnt quite fit in. maybie she doesnt feel confident. in pageant she could show everyone she isnt just ';that quiet girl';
the bad thing is sometimes people start making it the most important thing, to win. some girl may win and suddenly thinks that she is better then everyone. while it builds confidence it also builds ego. also it makes the other girls who didnt win feel they arent good enough.
