Anyone have any really good tips for beauty? And for boosting low self esteem?

I'm gonna be a freshman, and im not all too pretty, at least i dont think so, but i want to try to be less self conscious and try to look and feel beautiful. But i need some help. I have a really round face, and my hair and makeup dont go all to well with it.. does anyone have any... advice? Or any beauty secrets for anything?Anyone have any really good tips for beauty? And for boosting low self esteem?
i would kill to have a round face so learn how to flaunt it

MAKE UP ADVICE:

Concealer: Begin by applying concealer to make the skin tone look equal. Apply concealer in such a way that the cheekbones are highlighter while the jaw line is lightened. Using a sponge, dab the cream under the eyes. Blend it in up on the sides of the nose and out to the upper cheeks. Highlight the centre portions of your face by applying concealer on the forehead and chin.

Foundation: For redefining a round face you need foundation of two different shades, one light and one dark, which should be just one shade deeper than your skin tone. Place the darker foundation, in the fullness at your temples, as well as in the fullness of your jaw line. Keep the chin clear - this helps to make the face look longer. Smooth the liquid into the skin using a sponge. If you find that you have fullness under your chin and your neck, apply the darker foundation down in that area. Blend the lighter foundation into the same central areas that you placed the concealer - under the eyes, on the nose, chin and forehead. Use a translucent powder to lightly cover the area.

Final Touch: After the face shape has been corrected with foundation, apply a contour powder and blush. Place the contour powder on the fullness of the temples with a makeup brush. Continue to blend the powder down along the fullness of the jaw, keeping the chin clear. Finally, apply blush directly onto the cheekbones.

HAIR TIPS:

1. Measure your face across the top of your cheekbones. The measurement should extend from the edge of one cheekbone to the exact point on the other cheekbone. Once you have the measurement, record it on paper.

2. Measure your jaw line extending from the widest point on one side of your jaw to the widest point on the other side. Record the measurement.

3. Measure across your forehead at the widest point. Generally speaking the widest point will be about halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline. Record the measurement.

4. Measure from the tip of your face line to the bottom of your chin.

Hope i helped a little bit

and i am sure you are pretty

Honey i have a feeling that you are beautiful...All you need to do is the week before school go get pampered and go get your make up done and ask how they do it so you can learn for when school starts...keep your hair long cause i have a round face and i got my hair cut short once and it just made it seem more round! good luck with everything hope i was a little help!
your lucky to have a round face,, long thin faces are what people want to avoid...

pluck the eyebrows.. remove all facial hair..

go for natural makeup.. natural pink lipstick, blush, concealer, and mascara...

cut your hair to remove split ends..

use crest white strips to whiten your smile in just two weeks..

wear simple clothes but buy them in fun colors (yellow, green, red, orange, purple,,,) to grasp attention and boost your esteem..

change your style all the time.. wear dresses, skirts, leggings, skinny jeans, formal top and pants,,, don't wear jeans and shorts all the time .. it's just shows that your too lazy to style..

and the most important tip.. after you finish getting ready look at yourself in the mirror and smile like you have just been inroduced to a cute guy and just love your look...
A good hair cut and colour can make a real difference, my sister has a round face and when she had her hair with side parting slight side fringe feathered and layered around her face it looked great and it made her face look more elongated and she looked very sophisticated!

Good luck darling
