I tried to dye my hair blond at home, and it turned out awful! I'm on a very low budget so I can't afford to go to any fancy salons to get my hair bleached. My friend told me that at some beauty schools, the students give haircuts for a very low price, you just have to grade them or whatever. Does anyone know of some good places where I can do this in the San Jose Bay Area, in California?

Nothing is for free. You still have to pay when you go to Cosmetology Schools..It's cheaper, though. And the teacher does the grading. You, the client. Do not.
