Hiw does a blind person perceive beauty?

I'm doing a presentation on the subject of beauty. I'm only focusing on human beauty and thought that because the question 'What is Beauty?' is such a wide topic, it would very interesting to include first hand information from someone who has actually never visually experienced beauty. If it's not possible to gather first hand information, second hand is fine as well! Any information is will be fantastic! Thank you!Hiw does a blind person perceive beauty?

I would think that a blind person understands beauty in all its aspects through his feelings( feelings as in emotions). If something he encounters with makes him feel happy, comfortable, and at peace, then i would think that he perceives that as thing of beauty. On the other hand, if he encounters something which makes him feel hemay be of grave danger, well that , for him, is a thing of distorted ugliness.
recently a very fantastic sory appeared in the newspaper.though i cant remember any scientists or university name.it is like this:

in a long passage several obstacles were kept in the way,and totally blind men were told to pass through it.amazingly a few of them managed to navigate the corridor avoiding the obstacles.the scientists suggested we have two types of vision, concious and non concious, those ';blind'; ken used their more primitive non concious vision.it probably is sounding loony but you can search it on the net.

it suggests some of the claims made that blind people develop super sensory abilities of other senses may be a bit exaggerated.
easy, like most.

i suffer macular degeneration.. 70% of my vision is lost due to this disease.

i'm also, believe it or not, an artist. i help those like myself and folks who have better genetics than i PLUS i help the youth in the arts and the community of arts.

beauty, as you already know perceptional, we view it differently in a universal way.

i percieve it through my own art, lore and share it with the community in hope that it can also be shared and their own creative processes present it in their way and bring it about the world.

this is one way.

beauty can be created along with observed. no matter what one sees.
It is difficult for a blind person to perceive beauty, as those who are having clear vision. Because he would have never seen anything. He imagines with whatever information we supply him and he also tries to understand things with the help of his other senses like touch, hearing, smell and taste, wherever possible.
ooh I asked this question a couple of months ago :) I guess they perceive in the tactile terms rather than visual, such as soft skin. they would also place more importance on a friendly personality as they wouldn't be distracted by a person's outward appearance and could judge their inner beauty more accurately
Since people always say, skin is only beauty deep, a blind person will probably judge people's beauty by their personalty.
if you are not blind you will take it physically.....

in blind person love is beauty.......

for they perceive in feelings....

feeling physically......and emotionally....

when it feels good...it is beautiful
by what they hear.
