How do they remove a beauty mark?

I want to get rid of my beauty mark. How do they do it. (doctors) and will it scar? If it does, what can I do so it doesn't scar or isn't that noticible? and will they get rid of it right away or do you have to like take test to see if they can get rid of it?

Thanks. How do they remove a beauty mark?
By beauty mark do you mean birthmark or mole?

For both types, these days you can have them removed by laser.

Here are a couple of links for birthmarks:

If it is a mole you have then again laser treatment can be used. Here is a link:

Laser treatment for birthmarks/moles is not a scarring procedure but I think there are risks as with any treatment. Plus I think there is the possibility of the resurfacing of the birthmark/mole if pigmentation can't be reached fully by the laser, but further treatments might solve this. Plus laser treatment can be quite expensive.

I suggest you do a google search for the area in which you live and that should give you some links with contact numbers and clinics in your area and then you can phone to arrange a consultation if you want to proceed along that route.
