How do i get into a beauty pageant?

My best friend and I think it would be fun to enter a small local pageant. just to see what its like. but i don't know where to find one to enter.How do i get into a beauty pageant?
To find pageants in your area, I suggest a few different sites to start with. The first is Pageantry Magazine, and their site is www.pageantrymagazine.com. Check on their links section. You'll find a great list of national systems. Visit the national sites to find your state director if you have one. You can also try Turn for the Judges at www.tftj.com. On their links page you can search for pageants by age division and location. You'll get great contact information.





Some small local pageants to try right off the bat are the Cinderella Scholarship Program (www.cinderellapageants.com) and Miss America's Outstanding Teen (www.maoteen.org).

i like beauty pageants and won a few of them, but its way too pretentious and theres way too much competition
